How to get the best photos

Photos can help others understand how to play a game. When you are using Build a game, you can click on 'Add my own photo' to send in your own photo with your game.

Here are some tips to help you:

Most importantly, GET PERMISSION. You must make sure that the parents of the children in your photographs know what you plan to do with that picture. You are not allowed to use photographs without checking with an adult who lives with you first.

Go outside
The best place for photos is outside, in a sunny or a slightly shaded place.

Don't point the camera at the sun
Make sure the sun is behind you when you take the picture.

Make the people in your picture stand still
Tell people how to stand and ask them to keep very still for you.

Plan carefully
Think about what is special about your game. Is it how the game begins, or maybe how you win the game? Have the picture in your mind before setting up the people or equipment.
